Sutton Park School is an independent or private co-education multi-denominational school located in Sutton at the city side of Howth Head on the Northside of Dublin, Ireland.

History

Sutton Park School was founded in 1957 as one of the first multi-denominational schools in Ireland. The original school building is a Georgian House whose previous owners sold on.

Today

Sutton Park is an international day and boarding school, with students from ages 4 to 19 attending from 22 countries. Boarding facilities can take 16 to 18 students, in 2-3 person en-suite bedrooms.

The school is fully accredited by the European Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. It is Ireland's most expensive school at approximately €25,000 for boarders and over €8,000 for day students.[1][2]

Amenities and facilities

The school is set in a mature residential area, with the main entrance lying several hundred metres from the coast . The main house is Georgian,and is supplemented by buildings including the Junior Building, the purpose-built Westbury House boarding facility and over 7.5 million euro worth of library and IT centre

Facilities include an outdoor heated swimming pool, Tennis courts, Basketball courts, Astroturf pitch, grass pitch, playground, science labs, library and large gymnasium / theatre.

School sports include hockey and badminton. As well as other sports which can be done after school and on Wednesdays, such as, Tennis, Basketball, Soccer, Tag Rugby, Athletics (Track and Field) and others.
